In this year’s Mobile World Congress, held last month in Barcelona, Celltick announced the launch of Start Exchange, an ecosystem for developers of mobile sites, applications, and widgets. Obviously aimed at developers, who will have to apply in order to get access, it will allow them to get immediate exposure to the millions of Celltick Start users worldwide, driving enhanced visibility, adoption and engagement – all for free.
Celltick’s Start is a popular intelligent interface that gives users a truly smart and individualized control over their Android phones. More than 40 manufacturers and developers around the world use it as the default interface for their Android, and its reach numbers are constantly growing with over a million devices being put in the market with it.
Ramgopal Vidyanand, VP of Marketing & Business Development of Celltick, commented on this new tool: “Mobile users are always looking for the right applications and services to be able to access quickly and conveniently, in the course of their daily lives. With Start Exchange, we are creating a huge opportunity for developers to reach a massive audience of Android users worldwide, thus truly democratizing the playing field”.
With Start Exchange, all developers accepted into the program will be able to take simple APIs and lift them with rapid start development and deployment. In all this process, developers will have the help from the Celltick team, who can also offer tips.
Adam Salaman, Chief Operating Officer of Perk, attested for the revolutionary profile of Start Exchange: “Celltick’s Start Exchange program is revolutionary, because it means developers no longer need deep resources to drive awareness, adoption and engagement for their products. Instead they can harness the power of the far-reaching Start platform.”
Developers interested to join the program can check Start Exchange’s page, where more information about all the steps is available.
